Spectre Sensors is a manufacturer of premium performance industrial and aerospace pressure transducers. Decades of application experience and custom design allows Spectre the ability to quickly prototype, build and deliver your selection of premium performance pressure sensors.
Spectre's unique expertise is providing sensors of the highest performance and reliability specifically designed and manufactured to meet your application conditions. All the design, manufacturing, assembly, testing and calibration are done in house. This is accomplished in part by our fully automated CNC machine and manual machine shop. ALL of Spectre's digital series transmitters are manufactured and tested in environmental chambers that simulate the customer's exact operating pressure and temperature conditions. Accuracies of 0.05% are standard in digital pressure sensors with optional accuracies to 0.03%.
Spectre is not another “me-too” supplier of strain gage or oil-filled pressure transducers. Here is a quick list of some of Spectre's advantages on our standard units.
General Purpose/Industrial - Utilizes an oil-free, O-ring free pressure sensor with a sensor technology that provides up 70 times the output of conventional strain gage sensors.
High Accuracy / Digital - All the advantages of the Industrial series (long term stability, greater output, and no oil-fill) with the ability to achieve accuracies of 0.03% with digital electronics.
Combination Temperature/Pressure Transducer - Multiple outputs from one sensor.
Pressure Spike - Robust sensors specifically designed for cyclic applications with pressure spikes. Sensor is machined from one piece of stainless steel stock with no welds, no oil-fill, and no O-rings.
Sanitary - Thicker diaphragm with no loss in sensor sensitivity and superior temperature compensation.
Differential - More rugged with no liability of product contamination or potential explosion caused by media incompatibility.
Precision Submersible - Rugged design with digital electronics for premium performance over large temperature ranges.
